1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once a written confirmation has been issued and the required deposit has been received.
Dates are not secured until the deposit payment has cleared.
2. Deposit & Payment
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
The remaining balance is due 5 days prior to the event.
Bookings made within 10 days of the event date require full payment at confirmation.
3. Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 10 days prior to the event.
The final confirmed number will be used for invoicing. Reductions after confirmation cannot be refunded.
4. Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may incur the full booking amount, as preparation and ingredient procurement will have commenced.
In the unlikely event that the chef must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments received will be refunded in full.
5. Travel
Travel within Brisbane metropolitan area is included.
Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast bookings incur a flat travel fee, confirmed at time of booking.
6. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
All dietary requirements and allergies must be declared at the time of booking confirmation.
While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, dishes are prepared in environments where allergens may be present. Absolute allergen-free guarantees cannot be provided.
7. Kitchen & Venue Requirements
A standard residential kitchen with functioning oven and stovetop is required.
Adequate bench space, refrigeration access and clear preparation area must be available.
If the venue is unsuitable upon arrival, the chef reserves the right to adjust service delivery accordingly.
8. Breakage & Damage
The host is responsible for any damage to equipment or property caused by guests during the event.
9. Right of Refusal
The chef reserves the right to refuse service where conditions are unsafe, inappropriate, or outside agreed event scope.
10. Photography
Photographs may be taken for portfolio or promotional use. If you prefer your event not be photographed, please advise in writing prior to the event.
